Getting to know Lee Senior Force24’s Head of Client Operations

We’re as renowned for our people as we are for our tech. So, once a month, we put a member of our team in the spotlight to learn more about their role, why they’re good at it, and what their advice is for the wider world of marketing…

1. Summarise your role in one paragraph

As head of client operations, my team and I on-board a large number of clients onto Force24’s marketing automation platform, ensuring everything is taken care of – from CRM integration, to campaign execution and analysis. To keep up with the growing popularity of the SaaS solution, I also help develop Force24’s automation consultants.

 2. What’s your favourite part of the job?

How diverse this position is – I’ve been here almost five years now, and due to the fast growing nature of the industry and how popular Force24 has become, my role is always changing and adapting!

 3. Which one word would your colleagues use to describe you?

I asked the team and the word was ‘knowledgeable’ – it seems I’ve learnt quite a lot over the five years at Force!

 4. And the word you think best describes Force24?

Efficient – by under promising and over delivering, we are able to show that we go the extra mile when it comes to our client support, portal functionality and project delivery.

 5. Why do you personally think Force24 stands out from competitors?

I hear so many stories from clients that have come from competitors that have either found it too difficult to set up, or have to wait hours for support. When someone invests in our automation, not only do they get a great platform, but they also receive an exceptional team of consultants! We work with people to devise a marketing strategy and ensure they’re making full use of the solution, and if someone is stuck our chat function means they’re only two minutes away from speaking with the team.

 6. The phone rings and it’s your dream client… who would it be?

I’ve always liked the idea of a phone network like EE or O2 joining us. I’m a bit of a nerd when it comes to gadgets and I can see where automation would help them, with things like acquisition and welcome journeys.

 7. What’s your favourite feature within Force24’s marketing automation platform?

I think most people will say this, but it has to be Journey Manager. When I first joined, setting up automation was something a technical team would do. Now anybody can build complex journeys on a super simple interface – it really has changed the way we work with our clients!

 8. The office attracts quite a lot of attention from visitors. What’s the best bit?

The futuristic pods always look impressive, and you’re guaranteed at least one person will have brought their dog in for entertainment!

9. What is the biggest challenge facing the marketing industry over the next 12 months?

Everyone is probably fed up of hearing this – but GDPR. We might have moved past May 25, but this is when it truly begins. So make sure you know your data – you’ve probably just done a lot of work auditing and cleansing, but this needs to become a regular task!
