Force24 has been confirmed as the headline sponsor of an Innovation & Compliance event for the travel sector.
Organised by Online Travel Training (OTT), the Spring Seminar will bring together a range of industry partners keen to better engage with travel agents and tour operators.
OTT themselves will take to the ‘stage’ to talk to attendees about the use of behavioural data to inform tailored marketing campaigns. With the introduction of GDPR looming, the team will also elaborate on the steps they’ve taken to ensure compliant communication with over 150,000 contacts.
Then it will be the turn of Force24, OTT’s marketing automation partner, to delve further into the topic of marketing techniques that will stay on the right side of the law.
Commenting on the reason for the sponsorship, Force24’s Head of Strategy Jake Sweeney said: “We are big on next generation technology to drive greater efficiency, engagement and ROI, and are currently extremely active in the travel sector. This event was therefore a great fit for us – not only to attend but to sponsor too.
“With a specific focus on GDPR, I look forward to talking to delegates about compliant yet creative marketing. Yes, the data protection laws are changing radically, but we’ve been thinking about this for a very long time and the message is – there’s no need to panic. GDPR is a powerful opportunity to conduct better communications with clients and prospects. In other words, armed with the right knowledge and tools, brands won’t be held back by GDPR – it will be their chance to thrive.”
The ‘Spring Seminar – Innovation & Compliance’ will take place at Everyman Maida Vale in London, on Wednesday 2 May 2018 from 09:00-11:30. Entry is free but pre-registration is required at https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/ott-spring-seminar-innovation-and-compliance-tickets-43837421909.
